The owners and staff of Charnwood House Nursing Home are committed to providing individualized and person-centered care in a warm, homely environment that respects the individuals’ right to privacy, dignity, and personal choice, and this is reflected in our Good Care Quality Commission report. In addition to 24-hour nursing care, we can also provide quality short-term convalescent, respite, and day-care.

We are acutely aware of just how daunting the prospect of a move to a Care Home can be to a person who has previously led a full and independent life. Our aim is to ensure that each person is cared for in a manner to promotes as much independence as possible with the appropriate support measures in place.

The qualified nursing staff is on duty 24 hours a day and each member of our dedicated, caring team benefits from their own ongoing training program that exceeds current Care Quality Commission standards. All staff is carefully selected and we will only recruit those who demonstrate the skills and commitment necessary to meet the needs of our residents in a friendly and caring manner.
